Traction boards on the rack blank the door mirror on that side, and the hood gives you nowhere to hang a spare. This one clamps to the Hood-Mounted Limb Riser Handle, which is a separate product.

The head and the support arm articulate on separate joints. The arm reaches out past the bodywork; the glass then turns independently to whatever your seat height needs.
