They're cut from exact factory dimensions with curved-surface machining, so each handle follows the body contour instead of sitting proud of it, and the gaps are calculated to leave your key fob's signal path clear so lock and unlock respond as normal. High-gloss polishing and laser etching give the face some depth in changing light rather than a flat black slab. This is a five-piece set — four doors plus the tailgate — and it bonds on using the adhesion promoter supplied in the box. Nothing is cut or drilled, but plan on a permanent fit: once the handles are bonded they are not meant to come back off.
